Conditions of Entry
Acceptance of Entry: Due to the growing number of teams entering our competition each year we have been forced to accept entries on a first in first served basis. Your position in the competition is not secure until we have received your entry form and full registration fee. We highly recommend entering well before registration close off to avoid missing out.
Timeslots: Games will take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursday evenings for Summer and Tuesdays and Thursdays for Winter. Game start times will vary from 6:00pm to 7.00pm in Summer and 6.00pm, 6.45pm, 7.30 and 8:10pm in Winter (depending on number of grades). NB: We alternate times each week to make it fair for people that struggle to make earlier games.
Gradings: A list of all players with previous experience and any other information relevant to assist the Grading Committee is to be provided on the Entry Form. Once all applications have been received, the grading committee will allocate a grade based on preference, experience and on the team’s previous performance in the competition.
Number of Players: Each team must register a minimum of eleven (11) players and a maximum of seventeen (17) players.
Duty Team System: Each team will be rostered to report for duty on two (2) evenings during the Season. The responsibilities of the duty team include making available two (2) players to act as referees if required.
Team Dress: All teams must be uniformly attired in t-shirts, shorts or briefs and socks with shoes. Playing shirts with white as the major colour are not permitted due to referee shirts being white. Shirts must be numbered. Identifying numbers are to be clearly displayed on the rear of the shirt. Only sneakers and soft-spiked shoes permitted. Official Touch shoes strongly recommended.
Football: Each team must supply a touch ball.
